Welcome to StorageFlo. This guide walks you through the first setup session: creating the account, reviewing the onboarding wizard, adding your first location, and understanding the choices that affect launch readiness.
What you'll need before you start
Gather these items before you sit down to sign up. Having them ready means you can move through the onboarding wizard without stopping to hunt for information.
- Your SiteLink admin credentials. That means your Corporate Code, login email, and password. SiteLink is the only storage platform live today. storEDGE, Yardi Breeze, and others are on the roadmap and coming soon. If you run on one of those platforms, you can still set up your account now and connect your platform when the integration goes live.
- A payment method for your StorageFlo subscription. A credit card or bank account that covers your billing on our platform. This is completely separate from the payment gateway you might use to collect money from your own customers. We'll come back to that distinction throughout this guide.
- Your business address and legal entity name. You'll enter these during the Profile step of the wizard. Depending on your location and plan, you may also need your tax ID or VAT number.
- An email address you check every day. StorageFlo sends sync notifications, billing receipts, and onboarding follow-ups to the address on your account. Use one you'll actually see. You can always update it later in Settings > Account.
Sign up and confirm your email
Creating an account is quick when you have the right email address and workspace details ready.
- ·Visit the site
Go to storageflo.io and click Get started in the top navigation bar. If you land on the pricing page first, any Get started or Start free trial button takes you to the same place.
- ·Enter your details
Type your email address and create a password. Passwords must be at least 10 characters. We recommend something you have not used elsewhere. Click Create account when you're ready.
- ·Check your inbox
We send a confirmation email shortly after you submit the form. If you don't see it after a few minutes, check your spam or promotions folder. The sender is [email protected].
- ·Confirm your email
Click the Confirm email link in the message. That activates your account and redirects you straight into the onboarding wizard. The link expires after 24 hours, so click it when you're ready to continue.
Walk through the onboarding wizard

- 3.Connect platformLink SiteLink, storEDGE, or another vendor
- 4.BillingAdd a card for the StorageFlo.io subscription
- 5.Customer paymentsConnect Stripe, Square, or accept pay-on-site
The wizard runs five steps in sequence. Each step is short, and having your SiteLink credentials ready keeps the flow moving. You can pause and come back, but finishing in one sitting is much smoother. The wizard saves your progress automatically so you won't lose anything if you close the tab.
Here is a quick overview of what each step covers: Profile collects your business details. Pricing lets you choose your plan. Connect platform wires up SiteLink. Billing captures your StorageFlo subscription payment method. Customer payments is where you optionally set up a gateway to accept card payments from your renters.
- Profile
Enter your facility name, business address, and legal entity name. Fill in your tax ID if prompted based on your region. This information appears on your invoices and in your workspace settings. Take a moment to get the legal name right. You can edit it later, but invoices already sent cannot be reissued. Click Save and continue when you're done.
- ·Pricing
Review the available tiers. Each tier is priced by the number of locations you operate. Pick the one that fits your current footprint. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from Settings > Billing, so don't overthink the choice now. If you are still evaluating, start the free trial and pick a paid plan when you're ready. Click Select plan to move forward.
- Connect platform
Enter your SiteLink Corporate Code and admin credentials. StorageFlo connects in real time and pulls your locations and unit inventory. A green checkmark confirms a successful connection. If you see an error, double-check your Corporate Code, make sure your SiteLink admin account has API access enabled, and try again. For a detailed walkthrough, see Connect your storage platform.
- Billing
Add a credit card or bank account for your StorageFlo subscription. This is the payment method we charge for the platform itself. It is not visible to your customers. If you started a free trial, you can skip this step and return to it later under Settings > Billing before your trial ends.
- ·Customer payments
Optionally connect a payment gateway so renters can pay you by card through the booking widget. StorageFlo integrates with Stripe and Square. This step is optional. Many operators start without a gateway and let customers pay on-site. The booking widget opens and works either way. You can always add a gateway later from Settings > Payment gateways.
Add your first location
On most setups, your first location is imported automatically. When you complete the Connect platform step, StorageFlo reads your SiteLink account and brings in all the locations attached to your Corporate Code. That includes the facility name, address, contact details, unit types, and current availability. You don't need to enter anything manually.
Once the wizard finishes, head to Locations in the left sidebar. You should see your facility listed with its name, address, and unit count populated from SiteLink. If the data looks stale or units are missing, click Sync now on the location card to trigger a fresh pull.
For the full connection walkthrough, including how to troubleshoot common sync errors and missing units, see Connect your storage platform.
Adding a location manually. If you have a brand-new facility that is not yet active in SiteLink, or if you want to set up a test location, go to Locations > Add location. Fill in the facility name, physical address, and contact details. You can then add unit types and set availability directly in StorageFlo until the facility goes live in your storage platform. When you eventually connect it through SiteLink, StorageFlo will merge the records automatically.
Choose your billing tier
StorageFlo offers a few tiers based on how many locations you manage. Current pricing and a full feature comparison are on the pricing page.
You can defer billing setup during your free trial. Most features are available right away, and you will not be charged until you add a payment method and confirm a paid plan. When your trial is close to ending, StorageFlo sends a reminder email so you have time to review and decide. There is no surprise charge. If your trial ends without a payment method on file, your account shifts to a limited read-only mode rather than being deleted.
When you are ready to pick a plan, go to Settings > Billing, click Choose a plan, and follow the prompts. You can switch tiers at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
One distinction worth keeping clear: this section covers your StorageFlo subscription billing, which is what you pay us to use the platform. That is completely separate from accepting payments from your own customers. For the customer-facing payments side, see Payments.
Take the guided tour
Once you finish the wizard, the workspace dashboard offers a short guided tour. It runs three to four steps and highlights the key areas you will use day to day. If you are new to StorageFlo, it is worth spending the two minutes to run through it.
The tour covers:
- Dashboard. Your booking activity summary, recent transactions, and a quick view of occupancy across your locations.
- Locations. Where you manage facility details, unit types, and availability settings.
- Bookings. A list of all active and past reservations, with filtering by location, date, and status.
- Payments. Where you review transactions, issue refunds, and configure your payment gateway.
The tour highlights each section in order and gives a brief explanation of what lives there. It does not make any changes to your account. If you close it early or want to run through it again, look for the small Replay tour link in the top-right corner of the dashboard. It is always there.
What's next
You're set up. Here are the three best next moves.
- Connect your storage platform. Wire up SiteLink and make sure your locations and units are syncing correctly.
- How payments work. Learn how to accept money from your customers through the booking widget.
- Embed the booking widget. Get the widget live on your website so renters can book directly.
