Why we connect to your storage platform
StorageFlo is a bridge layer between your storage management platform and your renters. For supported connectors, it reads availability and pricing from your existing platform and surfaces that data through the booking widget. Your platform stays your source of truth, and StorageFlo.io gives you a customer-facing path on top.
This design keeps your workflow intact. You manage inventory the way you always have. StorageFlo just makes it bookable online.

Where to find your SiteLink credentials
You'll need three pieces of information from SiteLink before you can connect. Gather these first so the connection step goes smoothly.
- Open SiteLink as an admin
Log in to SiteLink Pro at sitelink.com using your admin account. You need a user with API access enabled. A standard operator-level account may not have sufficient permissions.
- Find your Corporate Code
Navigate to Setup, then look for Corporate Code. This is the unique alphanumeric identifier for your management account. It is not the same as a location code or facility number. Copy it exactly as shown.
- Identify the admin user we'll connect with
The connecting user is typically the same admin account you just logged in with. Note the username. Make sure it has API access enabled on the SiteLink side. If you're not sure, ask your SiteLink account manager.
- Confirm the password
Have the password for that admin user ready. We use it once to authenticate the API session. We do not store your SiteLink password. After the initial handshake, StorageFlo holds a session token that renews automatically.

With your credentials in hand, the connection form is short. The initial import time depends on the size of the account and the response from the storage platform.
- Open Workspace → Connect platform
From your StorageFlo dashboard, click the Connect platform card in the onboarding checklist. Or go to Workspace → Integrations in the left sidebar. Either path takes you to the same place.
- Choose SiteLink
You'll see a list of supported platforms. Click SiteLink. A credential form slides in on the right.
- Paste your credentials
Enter your Corporate Code, admin username, and password. Double-check the Corporate Code. SiteLink is case-sensitive, so an extra space or a lowercase letter will cause an error.
- Click Connect
Hit Connect. StorageFlo authenticates with SiteLink. If the credentials are correct, the form closes and your locations begin importing. The workspace shows sync status from there.
Verify the sync
A successful connection looks like this:
- A green status badge next to SiteLink in your Integrations panel.
- A list of your imported locations under Locations in the sidebar, each with its name, address, and unit count populated.
- A sync activity panel showing the location and unit data needed for booking.
Sync timing depends on the size of your portfolio and the storage platform response. Small accounts usually finish faster than larger portfolios.
After that first import, sync is incremental. When you change a unit price or add inventory in SiteLink, StorageFlo is designed to pick up the change without requiring a manual rebuild of the booking widget.
If you want to force a full refresh at any point, open the location card in Locations and click Sync now.
Reconnect or switch platforms later
You can manage your platform connection at any time from Workspace → Integrations.
From there you can disconnect, reconnect, or switch to a different platform when additional integrations go live. A few things worth knowing before you make changes:
Disconnecting freezes the sync. Your imported data stays in StorageFlo and your existing bookings are unaffected, but live updates from SiteLink stop until you reconnect.
Switching platforms requires a fresh import. When you connect to a new platform, StorageFlo re-imports your inventory from that source. Existing bookings remain tied to their original unit records and are not affected by the switch.
Reconnecting uses the same flow as the initial connection. Follow the steps in the section above, enter your credentials, and hit Connect.
Troubleshooting common errors
Invalid credentials. This is the most common error. Check that your Corporate Code matches exactly what SiteLink shows, including capitalization. SiteLink is case-sensitive. Then confirm your admin user can log in to SiteLink directly in a browser. If the direct login fails, reset the password in SiteLink before trying to connect again.
Sync stalled. If the activity panel stops updating and shows the same status for a while, it may be a platform response or rate-limit issue. StorageFlo retries automatically. If the status does not recover, open a support ticket with the facility name and the connection status shown on screen.
Missing locations after connect. If some of your locations don't appear after the sync completes, log in to SiteLink and confirm those locations are marked as Active. StorageFlo does not import inactive locations by default. Once you reactivate a location in SiteLink, the next sync cycle will pick it up.
Once your platform is connected and your locations are synced, the next step is reviewing and polishing your unit content. Head to Manage locations and unit content to continue.
